It is traditionally believed that St. Thomas, one of the original twelve disciples of Jesus Christ came to India in A.D. 52 and established Christianity along the Malabar Coast for the first time in India.
Marthoma Church of Baltimore is part of the same historic church established by Apostle Thomas, along the Malabar coast in the southwestern Kerala State (God's own country) of India.
Marthoma Church of Baltimore is one of the smallest but vibrant parishes in the Diocese of North America and Europe.
