It is traditionally believed that St. Thomas, one of the original twelve disciples of Jesus Christ came to India in A.D. 52 and established christianity along the Malabar Coast for the first time in India.

Mar Thoma Church of Baltimore is part of the same historic church established by Apostle Thomas, along the Malabar coast in the southwestern Kerala State (God's own country) of India.

MarThoma Church of Baltimore is one of the smallest but vibrant parishes in the Diocese of North America and Europe.

Our Mission:
Loosen the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke. Set the oppressed free and break every yoke. Share food with the hungry. Provide shelter to the poor and wanderer. Clothe the naked. Motivate the world from bondage to the Freedom of Life. Bring them from Sin to Redemption. Win the lost at any cost.
